Lombok to Flores... Help please!

Hi there

I'm heading to Lombok in August and want to travel over to Flores for the next bit of our adventure. Having checked out the organised boat trips that take in Komodo, I was wondering whether you know of any cheaper alternatives?

Are there any flights from Lombok to Flores (we're aiming to stay in Labuanbajo) that you know of?

Your help would be much appreciated

Hi,

You can fly from Bima to Lombok, but not Labuanbajo to Lombok. You can also go overland. I recently read a thread on Lonely Planet forum where the overland trip was discussed. It might help you.
There is also a link to a blog by Tezza within the thread that gives a detailed account of Perama's trip.
