Time for land ownership transfer in Lombok

Hi everyone! We would like to seek some advice regarding the transfer of land ownership in Lombok.

We know that land ownership can only be transferred to an Indonesian citizen, and will be going through the village chiefs, local office and then up to the government... but how long does the process generally take in Lombok? I was told that it can go up from 8 months to a year. Can anyone advise us on this please?

If the land has a certificate it can take only 3 months or so. Thats what it took for us anyway. But I expect this is best case scenario as it can take much longer if the paperwork is not in order etc.

I am sure others have more experience than I do though

Ezah is right, about 3 months if a certificate exists. If there is no certificate it takes much longer as you also need to factor in the process of a certificate being made.
