Four days in lombok

hi,

we are currently on trawangan for four nights after spending three nights in sengiggi. Its all lovely We are next going on a fourd night trip to komodo, after which we have 4 nights spare. Three things we think we might do

1. Gili Nanggu
2. Secret island resort on fili geda
3. Return here but stay on gili air (went there today, it was lovely)

any thoughts or other ideas most welcome. What a wonderful island

Hi Tony,

While there are at least three posters here with first hand experiences of the gilis, you are the one with the latest experience. During my next visit to Lombok I want to have a gili experience. Can you post here what a first time visitor should think about? I am interested in even mundane things like the best time to leave Sengiggi, the gili you liked, the place you stayed etc.

I would appreciate if you can do this while your memory is fresh.

hi josi, when are you going? I can reply in detail when I get back or get some time with a decent connection, at the moment I'm in scallywags bar on gili T and off to komodo tomorrow morning

My next trip to Lombok is not imminent. So take your time to share your experiences.

Enjoy the Komodo trip. I do hope the telecommunication facilities will improve in Indonesia soon. I am indeed grateful for the progress made there but it will be very nice if the bandwidth increases.
