Hello Josh, You have it about right regarding wind and spots in the wet season. As you would think, it is less crowded in the wet season. Still popular with the Japanese surfers but there may be less of then due to the problems they are experiencing. Like most places in the off season, you can wait through long flat swells but if you are lucky you can score good uncrowded surf. Lodging prices are lower this time of year. My thought is that like in the dry season Bali has more options, more swell, and more crowds. You are just as likely to sit through 2 weeks of small/flat surf as you are to score good waves. Probable more likely.
