Does anyone know where to buy snorkelling gear?
I want to get a couple of sets of masks and fins and have no idea at all where to start looking. I am guessing there must be somewhere here to buy rather than Bali. Thanks

Gemma, across the road from Krida Motor in Chakra there is a big shop with fishing gear, snorkelling gear etc. Made must know where it is, if he doesn't he'll love it

Yes Made knows where it is... anytime we go together to Mataram he always wants to stop off their but so far I had managed to avoid it Guess I will have to let him take me there now though

Hi Gemma,
It's the big two storey 'department' store on the big main roundabout at Sweta. Hardware, home stuff, bins, stationary, cleaning stuff, garden stuff, you name it. Not the cheapes place nut certainly the best one stop shop around, better than Depo Jaya for a lot of things (but Depo jaya much better for warm white light bulbs!

Well I spotted Superstore yesterday on my way to Cakra but as I was able to get the snorkels in the fishing shop I didn't bother going back to the store. Intersting to know of another place to shop though.
We were unable to get adjustable fins though, so if anyone sees them around please let me know.
