| I ordered almost all my furniture from Regenda Furniture. Hand made . Regenda is situated on the right hand side going towards Sengiggi from Montong. Also ordered nice rattan furniture from a small place in Sayang-Sayang. This was some yrs back but both factorys are still there. | |

| There are of course furniture shops in Lombok. However, Bali offers more choices and the shipping cost will be reasonable.
We have bought dining sets from Bali and had them shipped to USA. I am not sure if we can find that kind in Lombok.

| Personally for wooden furniture - having seen the difference in prices between Bali & Lombok I would buy in Bali and ship to Lombok. | |

| I agree. If I was furnishing a house from scratch I would be doing it in Bali and shipping to Lombok. There is far more variety and choice in Bali, and lots of beautiful homewares. The villa market is huge in Bali so it is well set up for 'western' taste in furnishing, including size of furniture. Furniture designed for locals is smaller as appropriate for local's smaller bodies. I find sitting in a chair made for someone several inches shorter than me not particularly comfortable. Of course, you can have furniture made to specification, but that is an expensive option. | |
