| Hi, hubby and I are looking to visit lombok for 6 nights for an "adventure" holiday. do you think it ok to book 2 nights accommodation from Australia and wing it for the rest of the stay. we are hoping to arrive and book from Lombok as opposed to from Australia a trekking trip (overnight) and kayaking trip (overnight) - is this possible? . arriving beginning November - any weather advice? | |

| Hi, I would offer two recommendations. 1. Holiday Resort, a short taxi ride from "downtown" Sengiggi where you will find clubs, restaurants, grocery shop, ATMs and Banks. 2. The Beach Club, closer to downtown. Both have websites and you should be able to book from Sydney. I am not sure if you want to climb Mount Rinjani as part of your adventure. However, if you want to see some photos of the Holiday Resort and The Beach Club, email me josihillary@hotmail.com and I can send invitations to view my photo albums. Josi USA | |
