| Can i buy Persil Non-Bio washing powder in bali or lombok?
this may seem a bit strange, but there is a good reason.... my wife has problems with asthma and skin complaints using anything other than Persil Non-Bio washing powder so usually i bring a box over. since the box weighs about 3 kg i would rather buy it when we get there, also the customs officers at Bali always pay special attention as they spot me wheeling a suitcase which is leaking white powder.

| Personally I can not say I have ever seen Persil here. I haven't been looking but I do think I would have noticed if I had seen it. | |

| I would say probably not. Washing powders tend to be the highly perfumed 'Rinso' type. It was a problem for me when I was living in Lombok. AS many locals in Bali and Lombok still wash by hand, the powders are suitable for both washing in a tub and are targetted to people who think the more bubbles there are, the better the powder If you are just on a holiday you are not going to need 3kg of washing powder. Work out how many washes you are likely to do, and just bring what you need to do that. If you are going to be hand washing, you could try sourcing a non-alergenic soap bar to bring with you. | |
