Flight time changes

Have booked flights from Bali to Lombok Septmebr 2 till 5th with Merpati. On the the return leg back to Bali our flight has changed from 2.15pm to 8.20pm. Luckily I found this out by going on to the website and checking my booking details as I had booked and paid through a agent in Bali and was just checking that all was legit. Anyway back to my main question to anyone who flys between the two, would this be subject to change again if they could fill a flight for the 2.15pm flight as booked previousally ??? And would anyone have a number for Merpati so I could confirm while in Lombok. We are staying in Kuta and do not want to rock up to the airport and find out we still have hours for a flight. Hope all this makes sense.
Also as I am not a frequent flyer how much time prior before our flight either way should we arrive at the airport.

Merpati are notorious for changing their flight times so it is always essential to
1. confirm your booking the day prior
2. on the day of departure, if practical, phone and ensure that the flight is currently on time (which is still subject to change )

Your hotel or losmen will be able to get Merpati's number for you, and even phone and confirm for you.

The middle of the day flights tend to be worse than others. Last time I flew Merpati it was 3 hours late and it was lucky I had allowed several hours in Bali otherwise I would have missed my connecting flight out.

You should arrive at the airport at least 1 hour prior to departure. Checkin closes 30 mins prior but don't ever aim on being on time in Lombok. All you need is a problem with delays you to getting to the airport and you will miss your flight.
