| Hello I arrive in Lombobok on 20.08.2010 and I am really interested in fishing there, especially in trolling. So, I have some questions I would kindly ask you to answer. 1) What is the price for the fishing trips you run? 2) What fish season is it now? If it is:) 3) What kind of boat do you have? Is it a sailing one or motorized? 4) Shall I bring my fishing tackle with me or hire from you? 5) Is it possible to buy some tackle, baits and lures in Kuta, Lombok?
Thank you in advance. | |

| Hi 10617 I will answer your questions best I can. 1) The cost is Rp800,000 for the trip - this is for 1/3 people. 3 is the max. 2) Not sure about seasons but trolling you usually catch white snapper and barracuda. 3) The boat is a traditional prahu with an outboard motor as in the photos above. There are lifejackets. 4) The cost of the trip includes all your fishing equipment, bait and a soft drink. 5) Yes you can buy some basic tackle, lures and bait in Kuta. You can see some more fishing photos on the Mimpi Manis FB page https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1289229164#!/album.php?aid=84847&id=11221471913&ref=mf

| Ok. Thanks a lot. Would you please answer some more questions? 1) How long does a trip last? 2) Do you run the trip on regular basis? Will I be able to join someone going fishing with you. I travel with my wife and she is not interested in it. Moreover I would like to share the price with somebody:) 3) How often do you catch tuna fish? Is it good season for it now? | |

| 1. The trips last 3/4 hours. Longer trips can be arranged.
2. We run the trips as required by guests sometimes several a week. If you would like to share the costs it will depend on whether there is a guest booked at that time who wishes to share or you can find someone in who might like to share with you.
3. It is the end of tuna season now, not much around. Now is mostly snapper & barracuda. | |
